PARENT FAQ
What makes us different from other camps?
Many camps focus primarily on getting athletes a lot of touches. We believe touches matter, but quality instruction matters more. Our focus is helping athletes understand how and why skills are performed so they can build strong habits and continue improving long after camp ends.
What age group is the camp for?
Our camp offers 2 camps for kids 12 & under and one passing camp for kids 12-14.
Do participants need prior volleyball experience?
No prior experience is necessary! Our camp is suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to those looking to enhance their game.
How many campers will be accepted?
To ensure personalized attention, we will only be accepting 36 kids per camp.
Which camp should I choose?
Choose based on your athlete’s current experience level and what they need most.
How We Started is best for athletes who are newer to volleyball, have little to no club experience, or need to learn the game the right way from the beginning.
The Process is best for athletes with some club experience who are ready for more detailed instruction, correction, and consistency.
Passing Camp is best for athletes ages 12–14 who want focused training on passing, platform control, serve receive, defensive movement, and ball control.
If your athlete is still building general volleyball confidence, choose How We Started or The Process. If your athlete already understands the game but needs to improve first contact and ball control, choose Passing Camp.
Who will be coaching the camps?
The camps will be coached by the Henglers. Coach Kacie played college volleyball & just recently won the 11U national championship with Excel 11 Red. Grace & Hope Hengler will also be involved in training and instruction. Grace and Hope are both high-level athletes who are on the USA U17 National Team and are currently competing at the national and international level.
